How do I apply to dMAC?

The application process involves:

  • Submission Requirements: All applications must be complete and submitted by the stated deadline.
  • Where/How to Apply: Applications can be submitted online or in person at the dMAC Admissions Office. Refer to the website for detailed instructions and location.
  • Required Documents: Include your latest educational certificate, a government-issued ID (CNIC/Form B or driving license), and, if applicable, a vaccination certificate.
  • Application Fee: A non‑refundable registration fee of Rs. 500 must be paid during the online registration process, with proof attached to your application.
What does the evaluation process involve?

After submission:

  • Applications are screened against course‑specific criteria.
  • Qualified candidates are invited to take an entrance test assessing theoretical knowledge.
  • An interview is then conducted to evaluate English proficiency and computer skills.
How is enrollment completed once accepted?

Successful candidates must:

  • Complete the online admission form.
  • Pay the required course fee (via bank transfer, JazzCash, or EasyPaisa) and attach the payment receipt.
  • Submit all supporting documents. Final decisions and instructions are communicated via official email and the applicant portal.
What if my preferred course is full?

You will be placed on a waiting list. To secure a seat in the next available batch, a non‑refundable deposit of 25% of the course fee is required.

Can special accommodations be made?

Yes. Applicants with disabilities or additional needs can request accessibility accommodations. Please contact the Admissions Office in advance with the necessary documentation.

How are applicants with criminal records or limited English proficiency handled?

Criminal Records: A history of criminal activity does not automatically disqualify an applicant; it is reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis.

English Proficiency: As courses are delivered in English, applicants must demonstrate adequate proficiency. Support options may be available on request.

Financial Considerations & Refunds

What discount options does dMAC offer?

Discounts include:

  • Early Bird Discount: 5% off if you register early.
  • Group Discounts:
    • 10% off for groups of 3–5
    • 15% off for groups of 5–10
    • 20% off for groups of more than 10
  • Alumni Discount: 15% off for dMAC alumni.
  • Family Discount: 10% off for immediate family members (with proof).
  • Government & Administrative Staff Discounts:
    • 25% off for candidates from Pakistan Government organizations.
    • 50% off for current administrative staff.


Note: Only the highest applicable discount is applied as offers are not combinable.

What is dMAC’s refund policy?

Refunds are granted based on the course timeline:

  • Within the first week: 25% refund.
  • During the second week: 15% refund.
  • After the second week: No refund.

 

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 20 days of course commencement, and processing may take up to 30 days.
  • Also note that the registration fee of Rs. 500 is non‑refundable and fees forfeited due to disciplinary actions are not eligible for refund.
Can I change my course or batch after enrolling?

In general, once the admission fee is paid, switching courses or batches is not allowed. Exceptions may be considered on a case‑by‑case basis.

Policies & Campus Guidelines

What health requirements are in place for enrollment?

All applicants must be fully vaccinated. You must submit a vaccination certificate with your application. If you have a valid medical exemption, provide supporting documentation so that alternative arrangements can be discussed.

What behavioral and campus access policies does dMAC enforce?

Behavioral Standards: A strict zero‑tolerance policy is enforced against aggressive or disruptive behavior (such as harassment or stalking). Violations may lead to severe disciplinary action.

Campus Access: Students may only access the campus 30 minutes before and after scheduled classes unless special permission is granted.

Parking & Property: Vehicles are allowed only on the service road at the owner’s risk. Students are responsible for any damage to campus property.

Smoking Policy: Smoking is prohibited inside buildings and allowed only in designated open areas. Violations can result in fines or disciplinary measures.

How does dMAC ensure digital and physical safety on campus?

Digital Safety: Only approved devices and secure access procedures are permitted on digital platforms.

Access Credentials: Students receive smart cards or digital credentials to access both campus facilities and online resources. These must be returned at course completion; any loss or damage incurs a fee of PKR 1000.

Attendance, Certification & Digital Learning

What are the attendance requirements?

A minimum of 90% attendance is required to qualify for a course completion certificate.

  • On‑campus: Attendance is recorded only if you join within the first five minutes of class.
  • Online: Attendance is tracked via dMAC’s Learning Management System (LMS).
What counts as an excused absence?

Absences due to illness are considered excused only if accompanied by a valid medical certificate from an authorized doctor registered with PMC.

Absences without documentation will be marked as unexcused.

What is dMAC’s proxy attendance policy?

Proxy attendance is strictly prohibited. Using another person’s name to mark attendance is a serious violation and may lead to disciplinary action.

How and when do I receive my certificate?

Certificates are issued upon successful completion of the course.

  • They must be collected within one month of issuance.
  • dMAC is not responsible for certificates lost or damaged after collection.
What are the technical requirements for digital classes?
  • You must have a compatible device (laptop, tablet, etc.) and a reliable internet connection.
  • Digital access is provided through the LMS, along with dedicated technical support and tutorials to help troubleshoot any issues.

Intellectual Property & Digital Content

Who owns the content I create during my course?

Ownership: All digital content you create remains your property.

Usage Rights: By submitting your work, you grant dMAC permission to use it for promotional or educational purposes.

How can I safeguard my digital content?
  • It is recommended that you maintain personal backups of your work.
  • Always adhere to copyright laws, particularly when incorporating third-party materials.

Privacy, Data Protection & User Rights

What personal information does dMAC collect and why?

Collected Data: Personal details (name, date of birth, ID numbers, contact information), educational and financial information, as well as technical data (e.g., IP address, browser type, usage data).

Usage: This information is used for service delivery (account management, payment processing), communications (newsletters, course updates), and to enhance our services through analytics.

What security measures protect my data at dMAC?
  • Encryption: TLS 1.3 for data in transit and AES-256 for data at rest.
  • Access Controls: Role‑based access control (RBAC) and multi‑factor authentication (MFA).
