Admission Policy
1. Purpose of This Document
Academic Policies and Procedures offer clear guidance to help you navigate administrative and academic processes. dMAC is dedicated to fostering a dynamic learning environment with short-duration, skill-based courses in Digital Media and Analytics fields. Our programs are designed to sharpen your critical thinking, teamwork, creativity, and technical communication skills—preparing you for fast-paced, technology-driven careers. While we uphold strict adherence to the Code of Conduct and ethical standards, this document explains the principles and processes of our admissions. This policy is reviewed annually by the dMAC Admission Policies Committee.
In unforeseen circumstances (such as technological disruptions or public health emergencies), dMAC reserves the right to modify these policies immediately, with prompt notifications via official channels.
2. Fundamentals
- Submission Requirements: All applications must be submitted physically to dMAC on or before the specified deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- Documentation: Every application must be accompanied by copies of all required documents (non-returnable). Incomplete documentation will render your application invalid.
- Equal Evaluation: Every applicant is evaluated using the same admission standards and criteria, irrespective of citizenship.
- Admission Authority: dMAC reserves the exclusive right to select candidates for its courses, and all decisions made are final.
- Accessibility Accommodations: Applicants with disabilities can request reasonable adjustments during the admissions process—supporting documentation is required. Please contact the Admissions Office for further details.
- Integrity: Providing false, forged, or fraudulent documents is a criminal offence. dMAC will take strict disciplinary or legal action if such an incident occurs.
- Applicant Responsibility: It is solely your responsibility to provide complete, accurate, and timely information; failure to do so may result in non-processing of your application.

3. General Guidelines
- Health and Vaccination: Enrollment requires that you are fully vaccinated. A copy of your vaccination certificate must accompany your application. Applicants with valid medical exemptions must provide corresponding documentation to explore alternative arrangements.
- Behavioral Standards: dMAC enforces a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of aggressive behavior (e.g., harassment, stalking, teasing, etc.), which will result in strict disciplinary actions.
- Campus Access and Property:
- You are allowed on campus only 30 minutes before and after class unless you have special permission.
- You are responsible for any damage caused to dMAC property.
- Parking and Safety: Vehicles may be parked on the service road at the owner’s risk; dMAC is not liable for any mishaps.
- Smoking Policy: Smoking is prohibited inside buildings and is allowed only in designated open areas. Violations may incur fines and other disciplinary actions.
- Digital safety is equally important—adhere to guidelines for secure access to online platforms and use only approved devices for course-related activities.
Enrollment for any academic activity is on a first-come, first-served basis, provided you meet the minimum admission criteria. You can follow the below-given path to enroll for a course batch:
- Registration:
- The very first step is registration; you can fill in the registration form online, deposit Rs. 500/- as a registration fee (non-refundable), and attach the receipt with your registration form.
- Evaluation:
- Your application will be reviewed by designated staff based on course-specific criteria.
- You will have to take an entrance test of your theoretical knowledge and an interview to assess your background and proficiency in English and computer use.
- Final Admission:
- If you qualify the entrance test and interview, then you will fill in the admission form online, deposit the respective course fee, and attach the copy of the receipt with the admission form. The following options are available to pay your course batch fee:
- Bank
- JazzCash
- EasyPaisa
- Copies of the following documents must be attached to the admission form, or else your admission will not be processed:
- Certificate/degree of latest education achieved.
- CNIC/Form B or driving license.
- dMAC reserves the right to grant or deny admission without giving any explanation.
- All admission decisions will be communicated via official email and through the applicant portal. If needed, you can request detailed feedback to better understand your evaluation.
- If you qualify the entrance test and interview, then you will fill in the admission form online, deposit the respective course fee, and attach the copy of the receipt with the admission form. The following options are available to pay your course batch fee:
- Waiting List: If you qualify for a course but there is no vacancy, you will be placed on a waiting list. To secure immediate enrollment in the next batch, a deposit of 25% of the course fee (non-refundable) is required.
5. Discounts and Financial Considerations
The following discounts are available:
- 5% early bird discount.
- 10% discount per candidate for groups of 3–5 participants.
- 15% discount per candidate for groups of 5–10 participants.
- 20% discount per candidate for groups of more than 10 participants.
- 15% discount for the dMAC community members (alumni only).
- 10% discount for immediate family members of dMAC community (spouses and children; proof of being an immediate family member would be required).
- 25% discount for candidates from Pakistan government organizations (with verifiable employment evidence and a No Objection Certificate).
- 25% discount for Hafiz e Quran (verifiable evidence/proof would be required).
- 50% discount for current administrative staff.
Note: Discount offers apply only at the time of enrollment and are non-transferable. They will not be combined with other offers unless expressly stated; the highest concession will be applied out of all the discount offers; however, these are subject to change without prior notice.
6. Refund Policy
- Course Cancellation: A full refund of the admission fee will be issued only if the course is canceled by dMAC.
- Non-Refundable Fees: The registration fee is non-refundable.
- Disciplinary Issues: No refund will be provided if course fees are forfeited due to disciplinary actions.
- Dropout Refunds:
- A 25% refund is available if you drop out within the first week of the course.
- A 15% refund is available if you drop out during the second week.
- No refund will be provided after the second week.
- Refund Claim Deadline: Refund requests must be made within 20 days of the course commencement, or else they will not be considered.
- Course/Batch Changes: Once your admission fee is paid, you cannot switch courses or batches. However, exceptional cases may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Refund processing may take up to 30 days and will require proper supporting documentation.
7. Attendance and Participation
- Attendance Requirement: A minimum of 90% attendance is required to earn your certificate of course completion.
- Excused Absences: In the event of illness, a valid medical certificate (from an authorized doctor registered with PMC) must be submitted.
- Punctuality: Attendance is recorded only if you join within the first five minutes of class; late arrivals and early departures count as absences.
- Proxy Attendance: Using someone else’s name to mark attendance is strictly prohibited and will lead to disciplinary action.
- Certificate Issuance: Certificates must be collected within one month of course completion; dMAC is not responsible for any lost or damaged certificates thereafter.
- Certificate Amendments: A fee of PKR 1000/- applies for reprinting certificates due to corrections (such as name changes).
- For online or remote courses, attendance is tracked through our digital platform. Ensure you have a stable internet connection to avoid unintentional absences.
8. Digital Learning Environment and Technology Use
- Digital Platform Access: All courses make extensive use of a Learning Management System (LMS) for accessing course materials, submitting assignments, and engaging with instructors.
- Technical Requirements: Ensure you have a compatible device and a reliable internet connection to fully participate in digital classes.
- Technical Support: dMAC provides dedicated technical support for any issues encountered with the LMS or digital course materials. Training sessions and tutorials on using digital tools and platforms are available to help you get started and troubleshoot common issues.
9. Intellectual Property and Digital Content
- Ownership of Work: All digital media content (e.g., videos, graphics, articles, etc.) created by you during the course remains your property. However, by submitting work, you grant dMAC permission to use it for promotional or educational purposes. It is advisable to maintain backups of all your work and adhere to copyright laws when incorporating third-party materials.
10. English Language Proficiency
- As courses are primarily delivered in English, you must demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. If you have concerns about your English proficiency, please contact the Admissions Office to learn about available language support services.
11. Smart Card/Institutional Card and Access Credentials
- Issuance and Return: You will receive a smart card or digital access credentials that allow entry to campus facilities and digital resources. These must be returned at the end of your course.
- Damage or Loss: A fee of PKR 1000/- will be charged if a card or credential is lost or damaged.
- Usage Guidelines: Misusing or sharing your access credentials with unauthorized persons may lead to disciplinary action.
12. Support for Applicants with Disabilities/Additional Needs
- Equal Opportunity: dMAC welcomes all candidates, including those with disabilities or additional support needs, and assesses all applications using the same criteria.
- Class Accommodations: If you require specific adjustments, please provide supporting documentation. The administration will review your request and arrange appropriate support, if possible. It is recommended that you inform the Admissions Office as early as possible so that all necessary accommodations can be prepared before your course begins.
13. Applicants with a Criminal Record
- Inclusivity: A criminal record does not automatically disqualify you from applying. However, you must declare any such record during the admission process.
- Personal Review: If you have a criminal record, you will have the opportunity to discuss your circumstances with senior administration in person.
- Final Decision: A panel of senior administrators will make the final decision on your admission. Each case is evaluated individually to balance fairness with ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
14. Occupational Health and Safety Assessments
- Health Clearance: dMAC may require you to provide a satisfactory occupational health assessment to confirm you are fit for the course.
- Confidentiality: All health information you provide will remain confidential and will be shared only with approved medical professionals. These assessments ensure that you can safely participate in both on-campus and digital learning activities.
15. Feedback, Complaints, and Appeals
- Feedback: dMAC is committed to providing constructive feedback on your application if requested (subject to available resources). Feedback requests must be submitted by you directly.
- Third-Party Requests: Feedback requests from individuals other than the applicant are not permitted.
- Appeals: While academic and professional decisions are final, you can submit a written complaint regarding any unprofessional conduct by staff. All complaints will be acknowledged within seven working days, and you will be informed of the resolution process.
16. Industry Collaboration and Career Development
- Industry Partnerships: dMAC collaborates with industry leaders to integrate guest lectures, real-world projects, and case studies into our courses—helping you gain practical, industry-relevant skills.
- Career Support: In addition to academic instruction, career development services (such as resume workshops, interview preparation, and networking events) are provided to help you launch or advance your career. Top-performing students may have access to internship or project opportunities that offer direct experience in the digital media and analytics fields through our own business platform, i.e. dMAC Solutions.
17. Digital Portfolio and Certification
- Portfolio Development: Throughout your course, you are encouraged to build a digital portfolio showcasing projects and skills. This portfolio can be a critical asset when seeking employment.
- Certification: Upon successful course completion, you will receive a physical certificate. Which may be verified online (and could use blockchain technology for enhanced security and authenticity). These credentials can be shared on professional networks such as LinkedIn to boost your career prospects.
